    In-person voting at the polling place on election day; polls open 6:00 a.m. and close 7:00 p.m. Hand-marked paper ballot; photo ID required (RSMo § 115.427).

    Two weeks of no-excuse in-person absentee ('early') voting at the local election authority before an election (added 2022).

  • PostalPostal / mailexcuse-required

    Absentee voting by mail requires a statutory excuse (e.g. absence, incapacity, religious belief); not no-excuse. Some mailed ballots must be notarized.
