rganization of voting on the recall of a member of the Council of the Republic The recall of a member of the Council of the Republic is carried out by secret ballot. To organize voting and determine its results at a meeting of deputies, a counting commission is elected from among the deputies. The Counting Commission elects a chairman, deputy chairman and secretary of the commission from among its members. The decisions of the counting commission are made by a majority vote of its members. Ballot papers are prepared by the counting commission in the form established by the Central Commission in the quantity corresponding to the number of participants in the meeting. The time and place of voting, the procedure for its conduct are established by the counting commission and announced by its chairman. Each deputy taking part in the work of the meeting of deputies is issued one voting ballot. Ballots are issued by the counting commission according to the list of deputies taking part in the work of the meeting of deputies, upon presentation of a deputy's ID. Based on the voting results, the counting commission draws up a protocol, which is signed by the entire composition of the counting commission. Based on the report of the counting commission, a meeting of deputies by open vote makes a decision to approve the voting results. The recall of a member of the Council of the Republic is considered to have taken place if more than half of the total number of deputies of local Councils of Deputies of the basic level of the region, deputies of the Minsk City Council of Deputies took part in the voting, and more than half of the deputies who took part in the voting voted for the recall. In case of equality of votes cast for and against the recall of a member of the Council of the Republic, he retains his powers. The first copies of the decision of the meeting of deputies of local Councils of Deputies of the basic level of the region, deputies of the Minsk City Council of Deputies on approval of the voting results on the recall of a member of the Council of the Republic, the protocol of the counting commission, together with the list of deputies who took part in the meeting, are transferred to the Central Central Committee within two days after the meeting of deputies commission.
