omination of Candidates by Way of Self-Nomination of Candidates

 1. Self-nomination of candidates shall be carried out by way of notification thereof of the
election commissions where the candidates are to be registered, followed by the collection of
signatures in support of such self-nominated candidates save as otherwise established by
Clause 17, Article 38 of this Federal Law.

 2. The federal law may require that a group of a certain number of voters be formed to
support a self-nominating candidate.
