Right to hold public office

1. Every citizen of Georgia shall have the right to hold any public office if the individual meets the requirements established by
legislation. Conditions for civil service shall be determined by law.

2. The office of the President, the Prime Minister and the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia may not be held by a citizen of
Georgia who is simultaneously the citizen of a foreign country.
