People exercise power through their representatives, as well as through referendums and other forms of direct democracy. 3. No one shall have the right to seize power. The current term of a body elected in general elections shall not be extended or reduced by the Constitution or law. 4. Political parties shall participate in the formation and exercise of the political will of the people. The activities of political parties shall be based on the principles of freedom, equality, transparency, and intra-party democracy.
