Referenda on Accession by the Republic of Armenia to Supranational International Organisations and on Territorial Changes of the Republic of Armenia 1. The issues related with the accession by the Republic of Armenia to supranational international organisations, as well as those related with territorial changes of the Republic of Armenia shall be resolved through referenda. 2. The decision on holding a referendum in the case prescribed by part 1 of this Article shall, upon recommendation of the Government, be adopted by the National Assembly, by majority of votes of the total number of Deputies. 91 Article 206. Calling a Referendum The President of the Republic shall call a referendum within a period of three days following the adoption by the Constitutional Court of a decision on compliance with the Constitution of a draft law submitted upon popular initiative, as well as the adoption by the National Assembly of a decision on holding a referendum. The referendum shall be held not earlier than fifty and not later than sixty-five days after calling a referendum.
