Issue of the Confidence in the Government

1. With respect to the adoption of a draft law submitted by the Government, the

Government may raise the issue of its confidence. The draft decision on seeking

confidence in the Government shall be put to vote not later than within seventy-two

hours upon the submission thereof. The decision shall be adopted by majority of votes

of the total number of Deputies, by roll-call voting.

2. In case the draft decision on seeking confidence in the Government is adopted,

the draft law submitted by the Government shall be deemed adopted.

3. The Government may raise the issue of its confidence with respect to the draft law

not more than twice within the same session.

4. The Government may not raise the issue of its confidence with respect to the

adoption of a draft constitutional law.

5. The Government may not raise the issue of its confidence during martial law or

state of emergency.
