Signature and Promulgation of Law

1. The President of the Republic shall sign and promulgate a law adopted by the

National Assembly within a period of twenty-one days, or shall apply within the same

time period to the Constitutional Court for the purpose of determining the compliance

of the law with the Constitution.

2. In case the Constitutional Court decides that the law complies with the

Constitution, the President of the Republic shall sign and promulgate the law within a

period of five days.

3. In case the President of the Republic fails to fulfil the requirements prescribed by

this Article, the Chairperson of the National Assembly shall sign and promulgate the

law within a period of five days.

Article 130. Accepting the Resignation of the Government

In the cases prescribed by Article 158 of the Constitution, the President of the

Republic shall immediately accept the resignation of the Government.
