Freedom of Associations 1. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of association with others, including the right to form and join trade unions for the protection of labour interests. No one may be compelled to join any private association. 2. The procedure for the establishment and operation of associations shall be prescribed by law. 16 3. The freedom of associations may be restricted only by law, for the purpose of state security, protecting public order, health and morals or the basic rights and freedoms of others. 4. The activities of associations may be suspended or prohibited only upon court decision, in the cases and under the procedure prescribed by law.
