Statement of result of canvass for secretary of state In the case of a state senator, member of the general assembly or any county officer, or any public questions to be voted upon by the voters of the entire state or any political subdivision thereof greater than a county, the board shall inclose, seal up and transmit one of the statements of the results of the canvass of the election, together with one of the statements of the determination and the certificate thereto annexed, to the secretary of state at Trenton within five days next after the meeting of the board, who shall file the same in his office.
