(a) When an applicant submits an application described in section 5(b)(1) of this chapter by use of the secure website established under this chapter, the bureau shall compare the information submitted by the applicant with the information maintained in the bureau's data base listing individuals who possess a current and valid Indiana: (1) driver's license; or (2) identification card for nondrivers.
