The program must consist of courses in several aspects of precinct election administration, including the following: (1) The duties of precinct election officers and county election officials. (2) The laws governing activity permitted and prohibited in polling places. (3) The laws and procedures governing the operation of voting systems. (4) The laws governing voter registration, absentee ballots, provisional ballots, and the tabulation of ballots. (5) Effective communication and problem solving techniques. (6) The laws and procedures governing the accessibility of polling places and voting systems for individuals with disabilities.
