1. If a successful candidate, or the treasurer of his candidate committee fails to file the disclosure reports which are required by this chapter, the candidate shall not take office until such reports are filed. 2. In addition to any other penalties provided by law, no person may file for any office in a subsequent election until he or the treasurer of his existing candidate committee has filed all required campaign disclosure reports for all prior elections. ­­--------
