Each candidate committee shall file a Continuing Report of Contributions for any contributions accepted from any person in excess of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in the aggregate: (1) after the last day of the primary election pre-election reporting period and ending two (2) days before the primary election; (2) after the last day of the runoff primary election preelection reporting period and ending two (2) days before the runoff primary election and (3) after the last day of the general election pre-election reporting period and ending two (2) days before the general election. For purposes of this section, “accepted” means that a contribution has been placed in a campaign depository or that an inkind contribution has been used in the campaign. A Continuing Report of Contributions shall be filed with the Commission within twentyfour (24) hours after the contribution is accepted and shall contain the name, address and occupation and employer of any person other than a political action committee making a contribution, the amount of the contribution and the date it was made and the name of a political action committee making a contribution, the amount of the contribution and the date it was made. The candidate committee of a candidate whose name does not appear on the ballot at the next following election shall not be required to file a Continuing Report of Contributions.
