52.6 Compensation.
1. Each examiner is entitled to one hundred fifty dollars for compensation and expenses in
making an examination and report under section 52.5, to be paid by the person or corporation
applying for the examination. However, each examiner shall receive not to exceed fifteen
hundred dollars and reasonable expenses in any one year; and all sums collected for such
examinations over and above said maximum salaries and expenses shall be turned in to the
state treasury.
2. An examiner shall not have any interest whatever in any optical scan voting system
reported upon.
