O Presidente de Junta Eleitoral que deixar de receber ou de mencionar em ata os protestos recebidos, ou ainda, impedir o exercício de fiscalização, pelos partidos ou coligações, deverá ser imediatamente afastado, além de responder pelos crimes previstos na Lei nº 4.737, de 15 de julho de 1965 - Código Eleitoral.
