§ NRS § 294A.011“Personal use” defined

1.  “Personal use” means any use of
contributions to fulfill a commitment, obligation or expense of:

(a) A candidate that would exist irrespective of
his or her campaign.

(b) A public officer that would exist irrespective
of the duties of his or her public office,

2.  The term does not include, without
limitation, the use of contributions to fulfill a commitment, obligation or
expense for personal security incurred in direct connection to the campaign of
the candidate or public office of the public officer.
