Procedure for registration of electors in incorporated cities;
preparation of rosters.

1.  Except as otherwise provided in NRS 293.5772 to 293.5887, inclusive, or by special
charter, registration of electors in incorporated cities must be accomplished
in the manner provided in this chapter.

2.  The county clerk shall use the database
created by the Secretary of State pursuant to NRS
293.675 to prepare for the city clerk of each incorporated city within the
county the roster of all registered voters eligible to vote at a regular or
special city election.

3.  The county clerk shall prepare for each
polling place a roster designated for electors who apply to register to vote or
apply to vote at the polling place pursuant to NRS 293.5772 to 293.5887, inclusive.

4.  Except as otherwise provided in NRS 293C.3032, the roster required
pursuant to subsection 2 must be prepared, one for each ward or other voting
district within each incorporated city. The entries in the roster must be
arranged alphabetically with the surnames first.

5.  The county clerk shall keep duplicate
originals or copies of the applications to register to vote in the county
clerk’s office.
