Governing body of general law city required to set dates for primary and general city elections in accordance with this chapter. The governing body of a city incorporated pursuant to general law shall by ordinance provide for a primary city election and a general city election on the dates set forth for primary city elections and general city elections pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
