Designation of other agencies in Executive Department of State
Government as automatic voter registration agencies by Governor; notification.

1.  The Governor may designate any agency
in the Executive Department of the State Government not described in paragraphs
(a) to (e), inclusive, of subsection 1 of NRS
293.5768 as an automatic voter registration agency if the agency collects
in the regular course of business from a person applying to the agency to
receive any service or assistance sufficient information that demonstrates a
person is qualified to vote pursuant to NRS
293.485, including, without limitation, proof of identity, citizenship,
residence and date of birth. 

2.  Upon the designation of an agency as an
automatic voter registration agency pursuant to subsection 1:

(a) The Governor shall notify the Secretary of
State; and 

(b) The Secretary of State and the automatic
voter registration agency shall comply with the provisions of NRS 293.57686.
