50 No misnomer or inaccurate description of any person or place named— a in the register of parliamentary electors, or b in the register of local government electors, or c in any list, record, proxy paper, nomination paper, ballot paper, notice or other document required for the purposes of this Part of this Act, and the parliamentary elections rules, affects the full operation of the document with respect to that person or place in any case where the description of the person or place is such as to be commonly understood.
