(1) The National Electoral Committee approves the results of a referendum by a resolution after the referendum day but not before the term for filing complaints or appeals with the National Electoral Committee and the Supreme Court has expired or before final resolutions or judgments have been made in respect of such complaints. [RT I, 06.05.2016, 1 – entry into force 01.01.2017] (2) In the case prescribed in § 61, the National Electoral Committee approves the results of a referendum after the repeat vote, taking into consideration subsection 1 of this section. (3) The results of the referendum are deemed declared on the day following the publication of the resolution of the National Electoral Committee in the Riigi Teataja pursuant to subsection 1 or 2.
