(1) A political party prepares a list of candidates. (2) The number of candidates in the list may exceed the number of Members of the European Parliament elected in Estonia by two. [RT I, 22.12.2018, 4 – entry into force 01.01.2019] (3) A person may stand as a candidate in the list of candidates of one political party only. A person who is nominated as an independent candidate or who is a member of another political party registered in Estonia may not stand in a list of candidates. (4) A political party may submit only one list of candidates for registration. (5) The order of candidates in the list is determined by the political party. (6) A list of candidates is signed by all authorised representatives of the political party.
