(1) A political party or an election coalition prepares the following: 1) the lists of candidates in electoral districts; 2) in Tallinn, an additional city list of candidates. [RT I, 21.06.2016, 1 – entry into force 01.07.2016] (2) A nominated candidate must be included in both lists specified in subsection 1 of this section. (3) A person may stand as a candidate in only one electoral district. (4) A person may stand as a candidate in only one list of candidates prepared by a political party or election coalition. A person who is nominated as an independent candidate may not stand in a list of candidates. (5) A political party or election coalition may submit only one list of candidates for registration in an electoral district. (6) The order of the candidates in the list is determined by the political party or election coalition. (7) All the authorised representatives of a political party or election coalition sign the lists of candidates in electoral districts and the city list of candidates.
