§ Subdivision 1.Intentional violation. No officer, deputy, clerk, or other employee shall intentionally: (1) fail to perform or enforce any of the provisions of this chapter except subdivision 2; (2) remove a registration application or record from its proper place in the registration files in a manner or for a purpose not authorized by law; (3) destroy or make an unauthorized change to a record required to be kept by this chapter; or (4) add a name or names to the voter registration files, records, or applications, except as authorized by law. An individual who violates this subdivision is guilty of a felony.
