§ § 16.1-15-45Form of certificate of election for state officers - Signatures.

A certificate of election must be prepared by the secretary of state for each individual
elected to a state or a district office. The certificate must be signed by the governor and the
secretary of state, have the great seal of the state affixed, and be attested by at least one of the
other members of the state canvassing board. The certificate, in substance, must be in the
following form:
At an election held on ______________, ___, ______________ was elected to the
office of _______________ of this state for the term of _____________ years from
_______________, _______, (or, if to fill a vacancy, for the residue of the term ending on
__________, ___), and until a successor is duly elected and qualified.
Given at Bismarck on __________, ___.
