§ 168.741Voting; unused and spoiled ballots; preservation

Sec. 741.
    The board of inspectors of election shall preserve the unused ballots, together with the
 ballots that have been spoiled by the electors and in place of which other ballots have been
 issued, and return them to the city or township clerk, or other officer provided by a city
 charter, with a statement of the number of ballots voted, and the clerk shall give to the election
 inspectors a receipt that must be filed with the chairperson of the board.
