§ Art. III-136Time Frames for Conduct of Elections of Members of Parliament of Ukraine

1. Ordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine shall be held on the last Sunday in
October of the fifth year of the term of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
 2. In ordinary elections, the election process shall start sixty days prior to the day of voting. The
Central Election Commission shall announce the start of the election process no later than sixty-one
days prior to the day of voting.
 3. Extraordinary elections of MPs shall be held on the last Sunday of the sixty-day period
following the day of publication of the decree of the President of Ukraine on early termination of the
term of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, issued in accordance with the Constitution of
Ukraine.
 4. In extraordinary election, the election process shall start on the day following the day of
publication of the decree of the President of Ukraine specified in Part three of this Article.
