1. A newly elected President of Ukraine shall take office no later than thirty days after the official promulgation of the results of the election. 2. A newly elected President of Ukraine shall acquire powers upon taking the oath to the Ukrainian people at a solemn sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. 3. After a newly elected President of Ukraine has taken an oath, the Central Election Commission shall present him or her with a certificate of the President of Ukraine. Chapter XXII.
