§ 168.36Seal

     The secretary of state may approve seals to be used for the same purpose as metal seals
 when required by this act. The secretary of state shall only approve a seal under this section if
 that seal meets all of the following requirements:
    (a) Is designed and manufactured for the purpose of proving authenticity, attesting to
 accuracy, or closing to outside interference or influence.
    (b) Is made out of metal, plastic, fiberglass, or any combination of these materials that
 would provide resistance to or evidence of a force tending to break the seal.
    (c) Contains an embossed or imprinted serial number.
