§ 168.555Nominating petitions and filing fees; public record, contents; public inspection

Sec. 555.
    The various officers named herein shall keep a public record of the nominating petitions
 and filing fees filed in a book for that purpose, which record shall indicate the names of the
 candidates, the offices sought, and the dates when such nominating petitions or filing fees
 were filed. All such nominating petitions shall be open to public inspection and subject to
 examination after being filed in the office of the secretary of state, county clerk or city clerk,
 in accordance with such reasonable rules and regulations as may be prescribed by such
 officers.
