104.045 Vote selling. — Any person who: (1) Corruptly offers to vote for or against, or to refrain from voting for or against, any candidate in any election in return for pecuniary or other benefit; or (2) Accepts a pecuniary or other benefit in exchange for a promise to vote for or against, or to refrain from voting for or against, any candidate in any election, is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 , s. 775.083 , or s. 775.084 .
