(1) The Commission may authorise any one or more of its members or any other person or persons appointed by it to do anything on its behalf in connection with the receipt and storage of ballot boxes and the counting and transfer of ballot papers and anything done by virtue of such authority shall be deemed to have been done by the Commission. Commissioners may appoint persons to assist them in the counting of ballot papers. (2) The Commissioners or any one or more of them shall administer to every person authorised to act for the Commission under the provisions of this article, an oath for the faithful discharge of the duties assigned to him.
