Except where otherwise stated in this Act the Assistant Commissioners shall not allow any person not being a police officer on duty, or a person lawfully entrusted with some duty in connection with the elections, or a person entitled to vote at that polling place, to enter such polling place; nor shall they permit any voter or other person to remain in the polling place longer than necessary.
