(1) The Commission shall make all such enquiries, and r e qu i r e f r om a ny p e r s o n s uc h i n f or m a t io n , as i t m a y d e e m necessary for the purpose of determining whether a person is entitled to be registered as a voter or to remain so registered or where he is to be registered. GENERAL ELECTIONS [ CAP. 354. 11 (2) The Electoral Commission shall ensure that adequate staff are deployed for the specific purpose of verifying voter qualifications and registration and shall carry out such verification both with the voter and other persons who may provide the necessary information as well as with any government departments which may have relevant information.
