(1) The staff of the Electoral Office shall, on their appointment, take an oath before the Chief Electoral Commissioner, that they will faithfully perform the duties of their office according to law. (2) Any one of the Commissioners and any other officer authorised by the Commission on their behalf, may administer an oath to any person whenever they shall deem the taking of an oath to be necessary for the purpose of making enquiries according to this Act.
