(1) In the execution of their duties under this Act, the Commissioners shall, in the absence of any express provision in this Act contained, do all such things as appear to them to be necessary for the performance of their duties. (2) In the execution of their duties under this Act, the GENERAL ELECTIONS [ CAP. 354. 7 Commissioners shall have the powers conferred by law on the Courts of Magistrates for the purpose of enforcing order at their sittings and ensuring the respect due to them.
