A person commits the crime of voter misconduct in the second degree if the person registers to vote without being entitled to register under AS 15.07.030 ; knowingly makes a material false statement while applying for voter registration or reregistration; or votes or attempts to vote in an election after being disqualified under AS 15.05.030 . Voter misconduct in the second degree is a class A misdemeanor.
