Par dérogation à l'article L. 280 , le sénateur est élu par un collège électoral composé : 1° Du député et du sénateur ; 2° Des conseillers territoriaux de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon ; 3° Des délégués des conseils municipaux ou de leurs suppléants.
