Election of the President of the Republic of Moldova (1) The President of the Republic of Moldova shall be elected by universal, equal, direct, secret and freely expressed suffrage, for a term of 4 years. (2) Elections for the office of President of the Republic of Moldova shall be held in a single national electoral constituency.
