(1) The chief electoral officer, in consultation with the Commission, may appoint as many additional persons as may be necessary to enable the Commission to exerciseits powers and performits duties effectively. (2) A person appointed by the chief electoral officer in terms of subsection (1) may be(a) anaturalperson;or (b) an institution, including a juristic person or an organ of state.
