officer must give notice that copies of the lists of candidates and accompanying documents
submitted by registered parties in terms of section 27, as amended and supplemented in terms
of section 28, will be available for inspection.

published in the Govemmerzt Gazette; and
(b)
publicised in the media considered appropriate by the chief electoral officer
as to ensure wide publicity of the lists.

(3) The notice must state, and the chief electoral officer must ensure, that for the relevant period stated in the election timetabIe(a)
copies of thelists for(i) an election of the National Assembly, will be available for inspection at the
Commission’s head office, a place in each province designated in the notice and the office of each municipality in the country: and

(ii) an election of a provincial legislature, will be available for inspection at the
Commission's head office, a place in the province designated in the notice
and the office of each municipality in that province; and

(4) Any person may inspect a copy of a list of candidates and accompanying
ments referred to in subsection (1).

( 5 ) The chief electoral officer must provide a certified copy of, or extract from, a list of
candidates or document referred to insubsection (l), to any person who has paid the prescribed fee.
