(1) If it is not reasonably possible to conduct a free and fair election at a voting station on the proclaimed voting day, the Conmission may at any time before the voting at a voting station has commenced, postpone voting at that voting station. (2) A postponement in terms of subsection (1) must be(a) effectedintheprescribedmanner; (b) to a day that would still fall within and 82 1 the period referred to in section 21 ( 1 ) ( h ) ; STATUTES OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA-ELECTIONS ss. 22 - 26 (c) No. 73 of 1998 Electoral Act. SS. 22 - 26 publicised in the media considered appropriate so as to ensure wide publicity of the postponement ofthe voting day at that voting station.
