Jurisdiction The district courts shall have exclusive original jurisdiction of actions objecting to candidacy, objecting to the calling of a special election, contesting the certification of a recall petition, and contesting elections. In a judicial district wherein there is a criminal and a civil district court, the civil district court shall have exclusive original jurisdiction.
