Number of candidates for whom a voter may vote A. A voter in a primary or a general election must cast at least one vote on the ballot before leaving the voting machine. B. A voter in a primary or general election may vote for as many of the candidates for an office as there are persons to be elected to the office, or he may vote for fewer.
