Denial of registration; remedies of applicant
A. Any person who alleges that he possesses the qualifications for voting who is denied registration
or reinstatement may apply for relief, without cost, to the district court having jurisdiction of civil causes for
the district in which he offers to register or seeks to be reinstated.
B. In addition to the rights and remedies established by Subsection A of this Section, a person who
violates the provisions of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 shall be subject to the provisions for
enforcement and to the penalties contained in such Act.
