Any person who: (a) is convicted of an offence against: (i) section 326 or 327 of this Act or section 83.4 of the Criminal Code ; or (ii) an offence against section 11.1 of the Criminal Code that relates to an offence referred to in subparagraph (i); or (b) is found by the Court of Disputed Returns to have committed or attempted to commit bribery or undue influence, within the meaning of Part XXII, when a candidate; shall, during a period of 2 years from the date of the conviction or finding, be incapable of being chosen or of sitting as a Member of either House of the Parliament.
