(1) The Electoral Commission may, in writing signed by the Electoral Commissioner on behalf of the Electoral Commission, authorise a person or a person included in a class of persons to exercise a power under this Subdivision. (2) Before authorising a person or a class of persons to exercise a power under this Subdivision, the Electoral Commission must consider whether the person or class of persons has appropriate expertise to exercise the power.
