(1) A political party shall have an agent for the purposes of this Part. (2) A political party that carries on activities in 2 or more States or Territories shall also have an agent for the purposes of this Part in respect of each of those States or Territories. (3) The agent of a political party in respect of a State or Territory in which the party has a State branch shall be appointed by the State branch.
