The Electoral Commissioner may declare an elector to be a designated elector on the basis of a reasonable suspicion that the elector has voted more than once in an election or a referendum. A designated elector may only vote by declaration vote. Information about whether a person is a designated elector is excluded from information relating to Rolls that may be disclosed under the Act.
